Nida Nielsen, a Lithuanian-born artist based in Aarhus, Denmark, seamlessly melds dream and reality in her graphic prints and photography.
A Vilnius Academy of Arts alumna, Nielsen’s exploration of time, place, identity, and memory manifests in works etched through the meticulous photogravure technique. Her prints, characterized by rich matte textures, deep shadows, and luminous highlights, exist as landscapes of evocative ambiguity.
As a member of Fyns Grafiske Værksted and Jydsk Grafisk Værksted, Nielsen contributes to the dialogue of printmaking, bridging the distances between her dual homes.
